Jadence.com serves as Newton J. Sun’s professional website. Previously, this site served as the website for Jadence, LLC which was founded by Newton in 2007. Jadence, LLC launched IQFuse™, an online utility for studying flash cards, that was sold to a company behind a five-time #1 Education App on the App Store and one of Time's Best Apps for Students in 2015.
The Jadence name is derived from the word "jade." Jade has been revered for centuries in China as the "imperial gem." Considered more valuable than gold by ancient artisans and scholars, it represents the value that Newton aspires to deliver.

Newton is a UC Berkeley alumnus with degrees in Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences and in Business Administration. He has worked at several start-ups, including a recent two-year stint as the Director of Software Engineering at a firm specializing in video and statistical analysis of sports games. He misses the burritos from the taqueria near the old office.
Newton hates wearing neckties and has vowed that if he ever meets the inventor of the necktie in the afterlife to kick him. Hard. Square in the nuts. Newton founded Jadence, LLC so he would never have to wear a tie to work. Sometimes when he's working from home, he doesn't wear a shirt either.
Despite what his lady friends like to tell their lady friends, Newton does not have a six pack. He does have mad programming skillz though.
